At the conclusion of the grand finale of Miss North Dakota USA 2018 held at the Festival Concert Hall on the campus of North Dakota State University, Abigail Pogatshnik was crowned as Miss North Dakota USA 2018. Abigail will now represent her state in Miss USA 2018 competition to be held next year. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss North Dakota USA 2017 Raquel Wellentin.
Abigail is 19 years of age and currently pursuing her graduation from the University of North Dakota. She now plans to travel and dedicate most of next year to prepare herself for Miss USA, at the same time polishing her professional skills for personal development.
Ecstatic about her win she said, “I am grateful for this opportunity because I am able to promote the values I am passionate about, while empowering every woman in the great state of North Dakota. I would encourage every woman to try to do something new each day to recognize the confidence, beauty and perseverance that they have within themselves.”
Becoming Miss North Dakota USA has been a dream come true for her and she’s looking forward to sharing her insight with other young girls who want to make their dreams become a reality as well!
At the same event, Ashlyn Erickson of Fargo was crowned as Miss Teen North Dakota USA 2018 and she will now represent her state in Miss Teen USA 2018 to be held next year.
