Miss Philippines Earth 2017 pageant is moving towards the finale in full swing and is scheduled to be held on 15th July 2017. The 2017 edition of Miss Philippines Earth pageant is coming up with few changes this year. This year, the organisation is making the pageant transparent for the audience.

So as per the Miss Philippines Earth Organisation, this year the fans can witness the Miss Philippines Earth delegates during the prejudging competitions live on Facebook. The prejudging event will judge the contestants on three separate occasions, based on figure & form, beauty of face & poise and intelligence category. Based on the above mentioned criteria the 12 finalists of the pageant will be selected. Although the announcement of the 12 finalists will be made during the finals to be held on 15th July 2017, the viewers will be able to witness the entire selection process. Judges of each category will be personalities from related fields of expertise.

Miss Philippines Earth originally called “Miss Philippines” is an annual national beauty pageant held in Philippines every year that selects representatives for the Miss Earth international pageant. In case the winner does not qualify due to age or other reasons, a runner-up is sent instead. The Miss Earth pageant abides by the motto of “Beauty With A Cause.” Miss Philippines Earth is a beauty pageant held in search of the most beautiful and environmentally-friendly woman in the Philippines.
