The splendid finale of Miss Slovensko 2017 has finally come to an end, and 21 year old Hanka Závodná has been crowned as the winner. Hanka succeeds Miss Slovensko 2016 Kristína Cincurová, and will now represent Slovak Republic at the Miss World 2017 pageant.
At the same pageant, 19 year old Petra Varaliova was titled as the first runner-up and will represent Slovakia at Miss International 2017 pageant. Michaela Cmarkova was adjudged the second runner-up and will compete at Miss Supranational 2017 pageant. Simona Strakova and Gabriela Zemancikova finished as the Top 5 finalists.
Standing tall at 171cm, Hanka is a student of Economics. The beauty queen loves dogs, and likes being in the presence of nature. She likes to cook, and enjoys motivational literature. Her hobbies include gardening and spending time with children, playing sports. Apart from winning the title and earning the opportunity to represent the country at Miss World 2017, Hanka also won a car, an exclusive apartment on the Danube and many other prizes.
During the finale, the girls showcased their poise in gorgeous evening gowns, and also exhibited their tradition donning beautiful traditional costumes. During their stay, the finalists were trained under various activities as they played volleyball, swam, did squats, crank, speed on large bathtub filled up with water and had other events.

Miss Slovensko 2017 started with the announcement of 12 finalists who competed for the coveted title. About 100 aspirants signed up for the title and 95 semi-finalists were shortlisted. Miss Slovensko was established in 1993 after the dissolution of Czechoslovakia. From the year 1993 to 1995, the winner of Miss Slovensko went to Miss Universe and the runner-ups went to Miss World and Miss International. In the year 1996, Oklamcák Production took over the Miss Slovensko franchise. Currently, the Oklamcák Production agency and TV JOJ along with the Forza Production House organize the most prestigious beauty pageant in the Slovakia, Miss Slovensko.
