The Miss South Africa organization is all set to host the coronation ceremony for the 2022 edition soon, after a successful application process, where stunning divas from all over the country participated to enter the competition. The organization is all set to elect the new queens who will represent the country at international platforms such as Miss World and Miss Universe. The reigning Miss South Africa 2021 Lalela Mawane will crown her successor at the end of the event.

As the entries of aspiring queens closed on 30th April, the organization has now revealed the Top 30 semi-finalists competing for the national crown. With many returning delegates, this year’s batch boasts of strong, experienced and passionate ladies.

The selection committee who shortlisted the semi-finalists included, Thando Thabethe, Simone Pretorius, Makhosazana Zwane-Siguqa, Nobukhosi Mukwevho, Koo Govender, Tracy-Lee Lusty Horwitz and Liesl Laurie-Mthombeni. Last year, Lalela represented South Africa at Miss Universe 2021 and was adjudged as the second runner-up.
