Miss Supranational Organization, through their official social media, announced the new age limits starting 2023 edition. Women between the ages of 18 and 32 will now be able to participate in Miss Supranational.
As soon as the news was announced, the pageant fanatics started to prepare their own wishlists of the beauties they would like to see participate at Miss Supranational 2023 as the age limit has increased. Hoàng Thùy of Vietnam, aged 30, can now participate in Miss Supranational.
Vietnam’s beauty queen Hoàng Thùy has made a name for herself in the pageantry with her stellar performance. She began her pageant career in 2011, after winning cycle two of Vietnam's Next Top Model. Eight years later, she was appointed as Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 to represent Vietnam at Miss Universe 2019 and placed in the Top 20.
Thùy was born and raised in the commune of Thian Lâm, Tinh Gia District, Thanh Hóa Province. With a modest upbringing, she used to sell rice cakes on coach buses to assist her family. She was a sophomore majoring in industrial design at Hanoi Architectural University before participating in the second season of Vietnam's Next Top Model. In 2016, she started enrolling in fashion design courses at Central Saint Martins in London.
Thuy has a strong fanbase in Vietnam and with her participation in Miss Universe 2019, she has the experience and the personality to compete at the next edition of Miss Supranational Vietnam and win the opportunity to represent Vietnam at Miss Supranational 2023. This change in the age limit could a blessing for this beauty queen to win a crown for her country.
