Silka Kurzak crowned as Miss Supranational Australia 2016

On 14th August 2016 Australia crowned Silka Kurzak as the country’s representative for the Miss Supranational 2016 pageant. The finale also saw the crowning of Dani Fitch as Miss Grand Australia 2016. Dani will now represent Australia at the Miss Grand International 2016 pageant.

Silka has an inclination towards charity and the beauty queen has been doing her bit for the society through various charity organisations. “Most of you are aware of my joyous fundraising! I’d like to thank everyone who has helped me on this campaign and in the past! Over all we have raised over $100 000K + for different charities! Heart Research Institute over 50K, the Leukaemia foundation, Variety children’s charity, Ronald McDonald house, RSPCA,  Animal welfare league + over 30 more!

The gala finale was graced by the reigning Miss Grand International Claire Parker and also Miss Supranational Australia 2015 Christiana Fischer. It was an emotional moment for Christiana as the beauty queen passed on her duties to her successor. Before the announcement of the winner, Christiana took her last walk as the Miss Supranational Australia and shared few words of wisdom.
