Dísa Dungal to represent Iceland at Miss Supranational 2020

Dísa Dungal was crowned Miss Supranational Iceland 2020 at the finale of Miss Universe Iceland 2020 held on 23rd October 2020 at Keflavik’s Hljómahöll Stapi Center. She, thus, became the official representative of Iceland at Miss Supranational 2020 as she succeeds Miss Supranational Iceland 2019 Hugrún Birta Egilsdótti.

Dísa Dungal was a fan-favourite throughout the competition as she performed with dedication and sincerity. Disa is 27 years of age and a Business owner (Professional lifestyle and health expert). Dísa graduated with a master’s degree in Sports and Health Science at the age of 24 after fast tracking through college in only 2 years. She is currently working in the fitness industry, running her own business as a professional health and fitness expert, yoga teacher and fitness brand model.

Disa took to her official social media to reveal her emotions in a post captioned, “Many people are asking me what I'm feeling and I can't even begin to describe it. This year has been full of challenges and hard work but I've learned a lot and I always beleved that whatever it would bring could only lead to greater things. I am feeling thankful and full of love towards everyone that has supported me through everything, you know who you are and I can't thank you enough. Excited to start my new journey as Miss Supranational Iceland.”

At the finale, Disa also won the Miss Norom Iceland 2020 award. She was selected by the Norom Iceland management team and will receive a very special gift from Norom: Sparkling water from Icelandic Glacial; Hand Sanitizer products from Dr. Lucid and a one year sponsorship which includes monthly gifts from Norom and photoshoot opportunities throughout the year.

Last year, Miss Supranational Iceland 2019 Hugrún Birta Egilsdótti represented Iceland at Miss Supranational 2019 and with her stunning performance, she placed in the Top 25. The country is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Supranational competition.
