At the culmination of Miss Tennessee USA 2018 finale held at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee on 14th October 2017, Alexandra Harper was crowned as Miss Tennessee USA 2018 and she will now represent Tennessee in Miss USA 2018 scheduled to be held next year. She accepted her new crown from the reigning Miss Tennessee USA, Allee-Sutton Hethcoat.
Alexandra is 24 years of age and has completed her graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She now works as a fashion and beauty blogger with Brentwood roots. She was previously working as a sales account executive at Fox17 but she left the job to run her own fashion and beauty blog.
Alexandra is indeed walking on the footsteps of her mother as her mom, Sharon, also won the Miss Tennessee USA crown in 1981. After winning the title, she expressed her glee by saying, "Winning the state title was a surreal moment, I really couldn't be more honoured in seeing the look on my mother’s face. There is nothing like that. We were both ecstatic."
At the same event, Sofie Rovenstine of Historic Franklin was crowned Miss Teen Tennessee USA 2018 and she will now go on to represent her state, Tennessee, in Miss Teen USA 2018 to be held next year.
