At the denouement of Miss Vermont USA 2017 finale held at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center in Stowe on 16th November 2017, Maia-Jena Allo emerged as the winner of Miss Vermont USA 2018 title. She will now represent her state in Miss USA 2018 to be held next year. She accepted her new crown by the reigning Miss Vermont 2017 Madison Cota.

Maia is 19 years of age and hails from Colchester. She completed her graduation from Los Altos High School in California. She is a professional sky-diver and is hoping to get more women involved in the hobby. But for now, she's just thrilled to have won the crown as she was competing for this title from last two years. Two years’ experience indeed paid-off her well.

Maia-Jena Allo has been a determined soul in this competition and she herself admits that this win has come only through her hard work and efforts. Madison will travel throughout Vermont making appearances and acting as the ambassador of the state at a variety of charitable events, social functions and many more.

It is absolutely unreal; I can’t even believe how I feel right now. I hope for it, I dream for it and here I am.”

At the same event, Alexandra Diehl of St. Albans was crowned Miss Teen Vermont USA 2018 and she will now go on to represent her state in Miss USA Teen USA to be held next year.
