The newly crowned Miss USA is gorgeous and was one of the front runners for the title, but it seems like not many people are really excited about her victory. Well, the reason behind the disappointment is Kára’s answer during the finals of Miss USA 2017. During the question round of the 2017 Miss USA pageant, each of the Top 5 finalists were asked about their views on certain issues, such as suicide prevention, cyberbullying, and even healthcare.

Miss DC Kára McCullough was asked her views on whether affordable healthcare is a privilege of a right? Kára’s answer surely attracted some eye popping out expressions and reactions. She said, “I’m definitely going to say it’s a privilege. As a government employee, I’m granted health care. And I see firsthand that for one, to have health care, you need to have jobs, so therefore we need to continue to cultivate this environment so that we’re given the opportunities to have health care as well as jobs for all Americans worldwide.”

Viewers didn’t see that coming and were staggered by her response. The viewers were so offended that many of them took to Twitter to share their disappointment about the answer. Some of the Tweets were as given below...

What was also noted by few was the fact that her answer didn’t really cover the agenda that was put forth, but, in fact, it moved in the direction of job creation.

Dancing With the Stars' Julianne Hough and Terrence J were the judges for the night. Grooving performances from Pitbull and country star Brett Eldredge added more charm to the already exciting event.

The show featured a performance by Cirque du Soleil's Michael Jackson ONE, Pitbull and Brett Eldridge. Ashley Graham served as the backstage host. Halima Aden, Carson Kressley, Brooke Lee, Nancy Lublin, Jeannie Mai and Janet Mock were on the judging panel.
