Miss Finland 2017 (or Miss Suomi 2017) has completed the casting for its semi-finalists, and the official presentation of the twenty shortlisted semifinalists is scheduled for next Tuesday May 16th 2017. However, quite a few girls have already shared on social media about them having been selected amongst the twenty semifinalists.
Well, the disclosures done by the girls are with permission from the pageant director Ms Sunneva Kantola, who has apparently told the girls that they can quite freely publish about their participation on social media, which is a big part of the present day. And Sunneva is ok with the girls revealing that they are in the race for Miss Suomi 2017.

Miss Suomi 2017 finals are scheduled to take place in September 2017. Last year, the finals were held on May 13th 2016, when Shirly Karvinen was crowned as Miss Suomi 2016 or Miss Universe Finland 2016, Heta Sallinen was crowned as Miss World Finland 2016 and Emilia Seppänen crowned as Miss International Finland 2016.
