At the coronation night of Miss India 2019 held on 15th June 2019 at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium, Mumbai, Shreya Shanker was crowned Miss United Continents India 2019 as she became the official representative of India in Miss United Continents 2019. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss United Continents India 2018 Gayatri Bhardwaj.
Shreya Shanker gave her absolute best at the finale night and it showed in her outstanding performance. From maintaining a smile to radiating confidence, Shreya did it all at the finale and managed to take home one of the three coveted crowns.

Along with her, Suman Rao of Rajasthan was crowned Miss World India 2019 and Shreya Shanker was crowned Miss United Continents India 2019.
The finale of Miss India 2019 was a huge success as it witnessed scintillating performances by the renowned performers of the country like Katrina Kaif and the contestants gave their best performances. The jury panel who selected the winners comprised of Vanessa Ponce Miss World 2018, Fashion designer Shane Peacock and Falguni Peacock, Sprinter Dutee Chand, Actor Aayush Sharma, Indian Footballer Sunil Chhetri, Actress Chitrangada Singh, Actress Huma Qureshi, Choreographer and director Remo D'Souza.
Gayatri represented India in Miss United Continents 2018 and with her amazing performance , she managed to place in the Top 10. With her gracious performance at Miss United Continents 2018, the pressure surely is on her successor to perform as well as her and maybe outdo her as well. India is yet to win its first Miss United Continents crown.
