Shreya Shanker was crowned Miss United Continents India 2019 at the finale of Miss India 2019 held on 15th June 2019 at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium, Mumbai. After her coronation, she began her preparations for her international stint and has emerged as a strong contestant to win the Miss United Continents 2019 crown as the finale will be held on 28th September 2019 in Ecuador.

A fluent and confident orator, this stunning beauty has mesmerised everyone with her elegant posture and determination. Being a graduate of commerce, Shreya intends to pursue Business Administration with the aim to start entrepreneurial ventures benefitting the society at large. She is definitely a beauty with brains.

Shreya is the daughter of an Army Brigadier from whom she learnt discipline and dedication. She has also studied in ten different schools in eighteen years which has given her a vast experience of cultures throughout the country making her sought after beauty queen.

In her childhood too, Shreya was interested in sports and had a keen interest in Air Pistol and Air Rifle shooting which also became her hobby. She also played golf with father and other sports such as badminton, basketball, cricket which can be seen in her fit and athletic body. She also loves horse riding, another hobby she has acquired over time.

Shreya’s mother is her best friend and inspiration as she volunteers as the professional psychologist with the soldiers and their families. She alsoinspired her to learn Kathak and Bharatanatyam, two cultural dance forms of India proving she had a well-rounded childhood.

Looking at her parents do so much for their country, Shreya is excited to be an international representative of India at Miss United Continents 2019 and fulfilling her dream to do her bit for her country. Shreya has proven that she is a strong delegate and a fierce competitor with her discipline, determination, hard work and wish to do better for the society.
