The 63rd edition of Miss Universe kicked off a grand launch through Preliminary Competition held on January 21, 2015, which was divided under three layers- Evening Gowns, Swim Wear and National Costume. As the biggest of all the beauty pageants is nearing its finals, scheduled to be held on January 25, 2015, the pressure among the contestants and the elation level among the spectators are shooting up.
This year, there are a total of 88 beauties, competing for the coveted title. Gabriela Isler, the reigning Miss Universe, from Venezuela will crown one of these contestants as her successor on the final night of the gala event. This year a new crown is going to be introduced which will be revealed on the final night of the event. The city of Doral in north-central Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States, is playing host to Eighty Eight beautiful contestants and their journey to the enviable title. The Miss Universe 2014 has been a voyage full of controversies and drama. Passing through the various stations of excitement and misfortunes, the pageant has finally reached its destination station of Finale.
