Miss Universe Australia 2018 finalists from the West Coast

The Miss West Coast 2018 final was held on 8th April 2018, to select finalists from the Western Australia region for the national final of Miss Universe Australia 2018, where one girl will be selected to represent Australia at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant.

Miss Universe Australia 2017 Olivia Molly Rogers will pass on her crown to a successor soon.

According to the official site of Miss Universe Australia, pinktankevents.com, Miss West Coast is an iconic fixture in Western Australia’s pop culture and is the official Western Australian Preliminary to the Australian National Final of the Miss Universe Pageant.

The site further explains;

The Miss West Coast program provides a platform for Western Australia’s most beautiful, talented, educated and confident young women to compete for the Miss West Coast title.

The Miss Universe event in Western Australia and the Miss West Coast program has a proud history filled with fun, sunshine and the amazing innocence of the 1970’s.

Thousands of applications are received yearly, with incredible finalists selected for the opportunity to participate in the once-in-a-lifetime self-development program.

The yearly Miss West Coast calendar consists of spectacular official events across eight months, including Workshops, Parades, Heats, Lawn Bowls Corporate Championship, Cocktail Functions, Charity Fundraisers and an iconic and unique State Final.

Pink Tank Events, has owned the rights to the Miss Universe WA Preliminary for 8 years and was formed by Perth businessman Troy Barbagallo in 2008.

In 2016, as a direct result of the incredible work put in to developing the pageant in WA, Troy was granted the national license to deliver the Miss Universe Australia pageant across the country to the high standards Pink Tank Events has been renowned for.

The new look Miss Universe Australia program follows the success of the pageant in WA, whereby thousands of applications have been received and 70 finalists have been named each year with the opportunity to participate in the six-month self-development program. The yearly calendar consists of around 14 official events across eight months, including the Registration Day, Workshops, Parades, Heats, Lawn Bowls Corporate Championship, Cocktail Functions, Charity Fundraisers and Gala State Final.
