Multi-Cultural delegates to vie for Miss Universe 2019 crown

The finale of One of the Big Four International pageants i.e. Miss Universe, every year takes place with a bang as it crowns the ace beauty as the new queen who not only takes over the title but also responsibly performs her duties and advocacies throughout her reign and brings the pride to her nation.

Likewise, this year’s edition will once again be a grand sterling affair as the new sensational and deserving beauty will be crowned by the gorgeous Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray of Philippines at the conclusion. The finale of this year’s edition will be hosted by Steve Harvey on his fifth consecutive year of Miss Universe. The finale date and host country of this pageant have not been announced yet, but it is usually hosted in the last month of the year every time. Hence, this year’s edition might be hosted in December.

Every year, beauties from all across the globe belonging to different cultural backgrounds compete in the pageant, correspondingly, the pageant is going to witness multi-cultural delegates this year as well. There are some of the countries who have already crowned their representatives to vie for the international crown in the pageant. So here we have a few amongst them who are genuinely multi-cultural and will be competing this year.

One of such beauties is Priya Serrao of Australia who was crowned Miss Universe Australia 2019 on 27th June 2019. She was born in Belmannu,Karnataka, India to a Mangalorean Christian Family, but later spent most of her early childhood living in Oman and the United Arab Emirates. She immigrated to Australia along with her family and settled in Melbourne at the age of 11.

Apart from her, Frederika Alexis Cull who was crowned Miss Universe Indonesia 2019 aka Puteri Indonesia 2019 on 8th March 2019 belongs to Indonesian-Australian descent as she was born and brought in Gold Coast, Australia and later she moved to Jakarta, Indonesia to pursue her career in modelling.

Sella Sharlin is another one, who will represent Israel in Miss Universe 2019 as she was crowned Miss Universe Israel 2019 on 26th March 2019. Her name has been added in the list because she was born in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S and later moved to Israel.

Apart from her, Shweta Sekhon is one of these beauties who was crowned Miss Universe Malaysia 2019 on 7th March 2019. She was born and brought up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, but belongs to Punjabi descent.

Teresa Ruglio who was crowned Miss Universe Malta 2019 on 12th July 2019 is another name hitting the list as she is of Venezuelan-Maltese descent, born in Caracas, Venezuela and later moved to Malta.

Apart from Teresa, Panamanian beauty Mehr Eliezer who was crowned Miss Universe Panama 2019 on 20th June 2019 is another beauty as she was born in New Delhi, India but later moved to Panama.

Madison Anderson who was crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2019 on 13th June 2019, is another beauty who is the multiracial delegate in this year’s edition as she is a Puerto Rican-American beauty who was born in Phoenix, Arizona, U.S and was born and brought up in Orlando, Florida. Later on, she moved to Puerto Rico.

The last name added in this list will be of the Thai-Canadian beauty Paweensuda Drouin who was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2019 on 29th June 2019. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and after completing her higher education, she moved to Thailand to pursue her career in Modelling and a Disc Jockey.

Another gorgeous beauty in the list is Miss Universe Haiti 2019 Gabriela Clesca Vallejo who was crowned on 18th July 2019 at Hotel El Rancho. She is a Haitian-Canadian model  who was born from a Dominican mother and a Haitian-Congolese father and was raised at Haiti where she was taught French and Creole. During her teenage, her family moved to Canada and today she is a proud Canadian citizen residing in the Nation’s Capital, Ottawa.

The 24-year-old Mohana Prabha was crowned Miss Universe Singapore 2019 on 17t October 2019. Mohana is a model and a Biomed student. The Indian-origin beauty who personally advocates helping end racial discrimination, will represent Singapore at the Miss Universe 2019 pageant.

In today’s world, countries are no more setting demarcations against different races and are promoting more diversity making the world a global place to live and this can be considered as a huge step towards promoting the heterogeneity of races in the world and executing unity amongst all.
