Asian trio of stunning beauties to dominate Miss Universe 2020

Miss Universe 2020, the 69th edition of Miss Universe, will begin later this year as contestants from all over the world will compete for the most coveted crown in this world. Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

While only six delegates have been confirmed to participate in Miss Universe 2020 this year, three stunning Asian queens have been crowned to vie for the coveted crown. This trio of Asian beauties boasts of talented, beautiful, capable and unique divas who are definitely dominating the pageant right now. As an added bonus, the three of them will get more than enough time to prepare for their international stint.

Nguyen Tran Khánh Vân was the first one to be crowned at the finale of Hoa hau Hoan vu Viet Nam 2019, the 4th edition of Miss Universe Vietnam. She became the official representative of Vietnam in Miss Universe 2020. The stunning beauty stands 175 cm tall and is not new to the pageant world. Van first participated in Miss Vietnam 2014 where she placed in the Top 40. Then, she went on to participate in Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 but was only able to make it to the Top 10. Ever since her crowning, she has been busy with her reigning responsibilities and making her preparations strong for the Miss Universe 2020 crown. Adline Castelino was the next diva to be crowned Miss Universe India 2020 at the finale of Miss Diva 2020 which was held on 22nd February 2020. Born in Kuwait City, she is the daughter of Alphonsus Castelino and Meera Castelino of Udyavar, Udupi. She shifted to Mumbai while she was 15 and completed her secondary education from St Xavier and graduated from Wilson College of business administration. She is a model and works with VSP, an organization that works towards sustainable livelihood for framers to curb farmer suicides and inequality. She relates to this cause as her grandparents were farmers and her grandmother died at the age of 22 due to lack of medical facilities. Ayu Maulida Putri was crowned Miss Universe Indonesia 2020 aka Puteri Indonesia 2020 at the finale of 6th March 2020 at the Jakarta Convention Center. The 22-year-old represented Jawa Timur at the national contest and stands 179 cm tall. The stunning beauty also holds the title of 2019 Asia Model Festival and Face of Asia 2019. Being such a big name in the fashion industry has also taught her a lot when it comes to preparing for such an important competition. Three of these beauties have definitely increased the chances of an Asian being crowned Miss Universe this year after Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray brought home the crown to Philippines.
