Miss Universe 2020 makeup sponsor shoot winners announced

10 May 2021 | Angelique Reyes

The 69th Miss Universe has begun and all the contestants have arrived at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Hollywood, USA, beginning their journey to the big night of coronation on 16th May 2021 where the stunning queens from all over the world will represent their countries and compete for the coveted crown. Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi from South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the grand coronation event.

With just a week away from the big night, the divas have started with the pageant activities including the photoshoots and interviews. Among these photoshoots happened the makeup sponsor shoot for which five queens were chosen similarly like last year’s shoot. In 2019, the five chosen queens were Croatia, Indonesia, Kenya, France and Colombia.

For this year’s shoot,  the chosen queens for the makeup sponsor shoot were, Iceland’s Elisabet Hulda, Puerto Rico’s Estefania Soto, South Africa’s Natasha Joubert, Philippine’s Rabiya Mateo and Uruguay’s Lola Santos Bicco. With pageant followers and fans anticipating their favorites for the Top 20 finalists, it is interesting to note that out of the last year’s five chosen queens, four made it to the Top 20, Croatia’s Mia Rkman, Indonesia’s Frederika Alexis Cull, France’s Maëva Coucke and Colombia’s Gabriela Tafur Náder.

Now with this year’s batch boasting of amazing talent and strong queens, it is hard to predict the finalists as all of the queens stand out exceptionally, but will the history repeat on the finale night, will this year’s sponsor shoot’s chosen queens make it to the Top 20 too ? Let us have a look at these five queens and their journeys so far –

Iceland is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Universe, but with a strong delegate like Elisabet the country’s chances seem to have hiked.
