With almost a month left for Miss Universe 2022 competition, The Miss Universe Organization has announced the sponsors for the 71st Miss Universe competition. A new sash sponsor ‘The Sash Company’ has been announced as one of the sponsors which makes sashes for Miss America and Miss Earth USA.

The Miss Universe sash maker has been ‘Sash.me’ since a very long time. The company makes pageant sashes both for competition sashes and titleholder sashes. With the new sponsor being introduced, there are speculations going around that there will be new sashes starting the 2022 edition.

However, this has gotten mixed responses from the pageant fans because Miss Universe sashes are so iconic, and it seems like the new organization is changing everything iconic about the pageant. The design can stay the same and the manufacturer can be changed. But it’s not sure if they will be allowed to use previous sash maker’s design if Miss Universe doesn’t own the copyright to the actual design.

Miss Universe 2022, the 71st Miss Universe pageant, will be held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States on 14th January 2023. Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu of India will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
