Miss Universe Argentina 2022 Barbara Caberera showcased her national costume titled ‘Iguazú Falls’ at the Mardi Gras Parade in New Orleans last night. The Iguazú Falls are one of the 7 natural wonders of the World. The best national costume will win the Best in National Costume award at Miss Universe 2022.

The costume entitled Iguazú Falls are a constant source of inspiration, not only because of the magnitude of their singular beauty, but also because they call for reflection on the importance of the value and care that nature deserves on our planet.

This typical suit is based on a natural and recyclable concept made up of a combination of different materials and elements that aim to convey a clear message through the language of clothing. Completely handmade, this creation combines embroidery techniques in crystal rhinestones, beads, pearls and fringes. From the back, the waterfalls are represented by cascades of synthetic boas, worked in different planes to achieve effects of moving water.

The finale of Miss Universe 2022 will be held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States on 14th January 2023. Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu of India will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
