The official search for the next Miss Universe Australia has initiated as the organization has opened the applications for the search of the next charming and potential queen. The winner of the competition will represent Australia in Miss Universe 2019.

Miss Universe Australia recently announced on their official Facebook page about the registrations which have begun for the prestigious title and all the potential divas can apply before the applications get closed.

As mentioned on their website “The Miss Universe Australia pageant provides a platform for the country’s most beautiful, talented, educated and confident young women to compete for the Miss Universe Australia crown.”

Before becoming a part of Miss Universe Australia 2019, you must meet the eligibility criterion stated below:

Should be based in Australia

Should be an Australian citizen or permanent resident

Should be aged no younger than 18 and no older than 28 on January 1 2019

Should have been residing in Australia for at least six months prior to March 2019

Should have never given birth or be currently pregnant

Should have a passport valid to at least 1 January 2021

Should have never been married nor had a marriage annulled.

Although contestants can be engaged, they must remain unmarried throughout their reign should they be crowned Miss Universe Australia

The previous year, Francesca Hung of New South Wales was crowned the coveted title of Miss Universe Australia 2018 and went ahead to represent her nation in Miss Universe 2018.
