As the national costume competition for the Miss Universe 2021 pageant approaches near, the stunning Miss Universe Brazil 2021 Teresa Santos has revealed her magnificent traditional costume for the 70th edition of the pageant. The diva took to her social media to share, “Today is being very special! It was also the day for you to discover the Traditional Costume that I will wear in Miss Universe! Beautiful, intense and with a surreal message and aesthetic!”

The costume, inspired by the Pau-Brasil, was handpainted by the renowned stylist Bruno Oliveira and is a paradox between the Modernist Manifesto and the warning of the predatory action of man against nature. “The mission of fashion, as an art of expression, goes far beyond art and the discussion of what is beautiful.” says, Bruno. The costume inspired by the red woods has been embroidered with pieces of glass and natural rattan to reproduce the treetops.
