Indonesia will witness a new era in Miss Universe from this year as the national franchise for the pageant now belongs to a new company. The franchise was previously held by Puteri Indonesia and now will be under Jakarta-based PT Capella Swastika Karya. Thus, a separate pageant will be held from this year to crown Miss Universe Indonesia 2023.

With the new era, the viewers are now preparing their wishlists to see their favourite contestant compete at Miss Universe Indonesia 2023. Sophia Rogan has made it to many wishlists to represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2023 platform.

Sophia Rogan is a 20-year-old Indonesian-British model, singer and fashion student currently studying in London, England. She also posted a story hinting at the Universe yesterday and everyone is now excited. She also has a YouTube channel with her name where she posts about her daily life along with make up and skincare tips.

Not new to the pageantry, Sophia Rogan held the title of Miss Grand Indonesia 2021 and went on to compete at Miss Grand International 2021, the 9th edition of the Miss Grand International, which was held on 4th December 2021 at the Show DC Hall, located in Bangkok, Thailand. At the end of the event finale, Sophia placed in the Top 10 with her stellar performance.

With her stunning beauty, experience in pageantry and her charming personality, Sophia will be a strong contender for Miss Universe Indonesia 2023 crown. Laksmi De-Neefe Suardana was the last winner under Puteri Indonesia organization who represented Indonesia at Miss Universe 2022 but unfortunately remained unplaced.
