Laos’ Christina Lasasimma sets off to USA for Miss Universe 2020

Miss Universe Laos 2020 Christina Lasasimma has begun her journey to the 69th Miss Universe as she flew off to Florida a few hours ago. The diva was accompanied by her family for the departure as they comforted her before she headed to Miss Universe.

The Miss Universe Laos 2020 Christina Lasasimma shared her departure on her social media where she wrote, “Her heart is ready to sparkle and Laos’ heart is ready to shine in the universe.”  She looked gorgeous in red outfit presenting Laos cotton to the world, one of the Laos heritage that still kept nowadays and use in the daily life.

 

 

Hailing from Vientiane, Christina Lasasimma is 27-years-old. She is a professional model of Belarusian descent, who has studied to be a programmer and happens to be under the auspices of a modeling agency in Thailand. She is excited to represent her country at Miss Universe 2020 and believes that her experience and knowledge of the beauty pageant world will help her win the title for Laos.

The beauty queen will use the platform to focus on women empowerment and equality, and what she especially wants to focus on are problems of teen girls being given into marriage, early pregnancy, and dropping out of school due to poverty in the rural areas. She also wants to use her voice to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS.

Miss Universe 2020 will be held on 16th May 2021 in Hollywood, Florida. The delegates will be staying at the Hotel Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida, USA. Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
