Jaipreet Dhillon from Kuala Lumpur for Miss Universe Malaysia 2018
Jaipreet Dhillon representing Kuala Lumpur is 23 years of age and stands tall at 173 cm. Jai recently completed her degree in Business and Commerce, and found that her experience as the President of the Netball Club in university to be most enriching, as she enjoyed winning tournaments and the camaraderie with other strong women. She aspires to become a successful social entrepreneur and would like to empower other women.
Jane Teoh Jun from Penang for Miss Universe Malaysia 2018
Jane Teoh Jun representing Penang is 20 years of age and stands tall at 178 cm. A student and a part-time model, Jane won a local modelling search last year where she had the opportunity to represent Malaysia in the international finale, and received a top 10 placing. Despite not being confident of speaking in front of crowds, Jane found the courage to step out of her comfort zone and take on new challenges.
Charmaine Chew Miss Universe Malaysia 2018 Finalist
Charmaine Chew representing Kuala Lumpur is 20 years of age and stands tall at 172 cm. Charmaine nurtured the dream of becoming a beauty queen ever since she was a little girl. A straight ‘A’s student, she made the difficult decision of deferring her studies and turned down a scholarship to further her studies in the UK to focus on this competition. Having performed on stage since she was four years old, Charmaine is interested in performing arts and wants to make a name in the entertainment industry.
Liliana Fernandez Miss Universe Malaysia 2018 Finalist
Liliana Fernandez representing Kuala Lumpur is 20 years of age and stands tall at 172 cm. She is of Eurasian descent and strongly believes that beauty is defined by one’s confidence and self-trust, no matter how they look. Currently undergoing an internship for her Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Liliana’s proudest moment was when she represented Malaysia in a modelling competition last year. She aspires to become a top model and an inspiration to others by sharing her own personal experience and challenges in the industry.
Shannen Jade Totten Miss Universe Malaysia 2018 Finalist
Shannen Jade Totten representing Kuala Lumpur is 23 years of age and stands tall at 171 cm. Shannen who is of Chinese-British parentage is a full-time model and holds a degree in Fine Arts. Her biggest accomplishment is holding an art exhibition and having her artwork sold to galleries and art collectors. She also has experience in teaching art classes and conducting workshops at an international school. Due to her passion for creating and teaching art, she hopes to get more involved in art charities in the future and open an art studio to hold classes and workshops for the underprivileged.
