Miss Universe Malta crowns a winner to represent the islands of Malta in the biggest international beauty pageant, Miss Universe. Miss Universe 2017 was Tiffany Pisani who represented the Island of Malta.

This year, twenty-five candidates, representing different localities around Malta and Gozo will compete in various rounds such as evening gown, swimwear, and personality question rounds. The winner will be chosen by a panel of professional jury. The newly crowned Miss Universe Malta 2018 will have a year packed with various activities, interviews, television appearances and more.

One of the contestants of this grand event is a beautiful diva with jaw-dropping looks and a heart of Gold. Your heartbeat will skip a beat when you meet her, only if you get a chance. She is capable of stealing your soul. Her name is Ellie Davies. She is British, with a lush accent, and is representing Marsaskala. She is 19 and living in Malta since last two years. She is an avid dog lover. She lives with her family in Malta. Her motive is to change or make this world a better place for human existence.  She is a qualified makeup artist and wants to pursue her career in this field. She is currently an online casino manager. She faced anxiety issue as a kid which she has overcome now. It was a difficult phase but now she has learned how to deal with it.

She believes that The Miss Malta Universe is a great platform with loads of opportunity and scope for her near future.

Established in the year 2016, the Miss Universe Malta pageant is organized by Glow Promotions. Before the Miss Universe Malta pageant, the representatives for Miss Universe were selected from the Miss Malta pageant. The event, Miss Universe, consists of more than 90 countries competing for this title. The show's main motive is to empower young women from around the globe, thus adopting the slogan 'Confidently Beautiful'. Miss Universe is licensed under IMG Models and MUO in New York.

The newly crowned Miss Universe Malta 2018 will then represent Malta at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant where Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters will crown her successor.
