While Nepal’s delegation has always been a refreshing and delightful sight, the country is yet to pioneer its win for the Miss Universe title. Over the past few years, the country has produced some of the strongest, most stunning and inspiring beauty queens who have lead their way to international recognition.

For this year’s edition of the Miss Universe Nepal pageant, one name that has been making the loudest noise if of Nina Kant Mandal. After two consecutive attempts towards the national crown, will third time be the charm for this diva as her dream for the national crown remains incomplete.

Nina Kant Mandal is a 26 years old advocate for mental health awareness. Nina has always wanted to use the Miss Universe platform to showcase her values of being a kindhearted, strong, hardworking, and communicative leader. She believes she can not only put Nepal on the map of the universe but bring the Universe to Nepal.

Originally from Nepal, this beauty has been a resident of Moscow, Russia for a long time now. Graduated from University of Greenwich 2017, Nina holds a bachelor’s degree In Psychology honors. Being a model, she is strict with her diet and never really skips workout. Even after having enormous love for food, she keeps her calories in check and never let her taste buds come in the way of her fitness regime.

Her enchanting personality is adorned by her captivating and cute smile. This diva made her debut in pageantry in 2018 vying for the crown of Miss Asia Russia 2018 where she was crowned winner at the conclusion of the event. Her performance in the competition made her one of the favorite contestants of the audience as well as the judges.

Dedicated towards her dream, the beauty was a part of the national pageant in 2020 and 2021 where she finished as the second and first runner-up respectively. Taking her performance up a notch every year, this year might have success in cards for Nina.
