Miss Universe Peru 2016 Valeria Piazza is a bundle of joy and positivity to everybody who knows her. But in the heartbreaking news that came in two days ago, Valeria has been admitted to a hospital, reportedly, due to an autoimmune disease. The news was confirmed by the national director of Miss Peru organisation, Jessica Newton, as she took to her Instagram and provided the grieving news to her devoted fans.
Valeria Piazza is a 27-year-old Peruvian social communicator and a pageant queen who won Miss Peru 2016 and thus went on to represent her country in Miss Universe 2016. Even though she could not win the coveted pageant, she was placed in the semi-finals and was probably one of the most loved queens in the competition that year.
Jessica confirmed that the beauty queen is in a delicate condition and the hospital has enforced strict no visitation rules. She also consoled her fans by telling them that even in the worst conditions, Valeria has not lost her positivity and smile.
In a series of posts Jessica posted on her official account, she communicated with her fans on the behalf of the family of Valerie and thanked everyone for their comments of affection and good wishes. She also urged her fans to respect that medical visits are not allowed due to her delicate condition.
Just a few hours ago, Jessica posted an old picture of Valeria with her daughter on a sleepover and informed everyone that Valeria is feeling better, seems to be stable and hoped could soon start her recovery.
