Adelma Krissel Palomares Benicta has become the official representative of Ilocos Sur for Miss Universe Philippines 2020 after she was confirmed at the red-carpet presentation held yesterday in Manila. The first edition of Miss Universe Philippines i.e. Miss Universe Philippines 2020 is all set to host its coronation on 3rd May 2020 in Mall of Asia Arena, Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila. Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados will crown her successor at the end of the finale.

Adelma hails from the city of Ilocos in Philippines and has Studied Bachelor of Science in Nursing at University of Northern Philippines. She is now a Staff Nurse at Gabriela Silang General Hospital. The beauty is no new to the pageantry world as she competed in Saniata ti Ylocos Sur in year 2019 where she took home the title. Then in Miss Millenial Philippines-Ilocos Sur also, she held the victory and in year 2018 also, she competed in Nightingale of Ilocos Sur, where she took home the title and the crown.

The diva is well-versed with the beauty pageants and is well-experienced. She knows about the criteria and what it takes to be a beauty queen in a pageant which is at a high level. She will definitely be a strong contender and also with her experience in the pageantry and her attributes and her style and her beauty, everything comes together and makes her a perfect queen for the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2020. She will definitely leave a noteworthy mark in the competition.

The Miss Universe franchise in the Philippines, previously held by Binibining Pilipinas, was granted to Miss Universe Philippines organization which is headed by national director Shamcey Supsup-Lee. As a separate organization Miss Universe Philippines will encourage Filipina women to become empowered individuals, who also embody the mission of being agents of meaningful change wherever they are.
