With Miss Universe Philippines separating from Binibining Pilipinas in 2019, the first edition of Miss Universe Philippines i.e. Miss Universe Philippines 2020 will be hosted on 3rd May 2020 in Mall of Asia Arena, Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila.

Ivanna Kamil Suficiencia Pacis has become the official representative of Makati for Miss Universe Philippines 2020 after she was confirmed at the red-carpet presentation held in Manila. Ivanna is 24-years-old and graduated with a degree in Broadcast Communications from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. She works as a professional model and host as of now.

Ivanna started her beauty pageant journey during her secondary education, after being crowned as Miss Makati 2014. She later joined a modelling agency to pursue a career of modelling. She also took roles for TV, commercial and print advertisements. After completing her education, she joined her first national pageant, winning the second princess crown for Miss World Philippines 2016. She has worked professionally for various designers and models and has learnt tips and tricks to make her standing in the beauty pageant world.

Ivanna is very passionate in public speaking, event hosting and writing. She has been a professional model and host for corporate and social events, while also pursuing an established corporate career. She is a keen advocate for the cleaning of the ocean and for her birthday she joined hands with The Ocean Cleanup; a non-profit organization and urged people to clean, donate and raise awareness about the condition of the ocean.

Ivanna is strong, confident and very focused towards winning the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 and earn her chance to represent Philippines at Miss Universe 2020. She found her passion in modelling and beauty pageants and she has immense regards for the people who have always guided her and motivated her to follow her dreams and passion.

Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados will crown her successor by the end of the event finale. The pageant aims to encourage Filipina women to become empowered individuals, who also embody the mission of being agents of meaningful change wherever they are. It trains participants to become role models, pursuing personal and professional goals, while also leaving and inspiring positive impact in society.
