Miss Universe Philippines, under the new roles and leadership, is hosting the debut edition where stunning beauties are competing for the national crown and the opportunity to represent Philippines in Miss Universe 2020. Gazini Ganados Miss Universe Philippines 2019 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale which will be held on 25th October 2020.

The organization introduced the concept of Ring Light Series few months ago along with giving life to three roles that is essential for the next representative of the Philippines. The organization provided guidance to the delegates on how to fight the challenges brought because of the Covid-19. It also inspired Filipinos to seek the best versions of themselves during the new normal. The ring light series aims to create initiatives that will bring Filipinos together to do meaningful work.

The first episode of the Ring Light Series was aired just few hours ago in which the girls spoke about their passions, hopes, motivations. The audience gets to explore their hometowns, learn about their history, and find out what drives them to go on this journey to pursue the crown. Some of the divas who featured in the first episode includes, Sigrid Grace Flores, Sandra Lemonon, Apriel Smith, Michele Gumabao, Skelly Ivy Florida, Billie Hakenson, Tracy Maureen Perez, Rabiya Mateo, Adelma Krissel Benicta, Caroline Veronilla, Mariel Joyce Pascua, etc.

Miss Universe Philippines 2020 is not just an Olympics of beauty, body, and brains but a celebration of the triumphs, struggles and stories of the Filipinos. It is more than the hair and makeup, the glitz and the glam. It is a show of culture and tradition of the Philippines. It is strengthening the power of a modern-day Filipina and on how she can change her community. It is about bringing hope and light to a lot of people. It is taking initiatives and trying to make a difference. It is the first pageant of its kind in the world as it gives pageant fans a closer look at what it truly takes to become a beauty queen with a purpose.

All the divas have been putting their best foot forward in working towards winning the title and doing good for their community alongside.
