Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the Miss Universe Philippines, will be held on 30th April 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Celeste Cortesi has made it to Top 50 at the national competition representing Pasay. Celeste is 24 years of age who works as a model and a future licensed real estate broker. Born to a Spanish-Filipina mom and an Italian Father, the former Miss Philippines Earth will create a cross-over delegation at the national pageant this year.

In the announcement video, the diva said, “I really promised myself I will never go back on stage until I would be ready to take the responsibility of a crown and I think I deserve to be the next Miss Universe Philippines because I’m very relatable. I’m not afraid to show my weaknesses, my flaws and imperfections just as much as my strengths.”

Celeste has learned to value hard-work, resilience and dedication at a very young age. She represented Philippines at the Miss Earth 2018 competition and was placed among the Top 8 finalists with a stellar performance throughout. Celeste aspires to be role model especially to young women to not just look and focus on perfection but to embrace themselves as a whole.

With her experience in the national pageantry and already having represented her country at Miss Earth, Celeste is definitely a strong contender for the national crown. She has the exotic features, a strong personality and the required experience to show her capabilities at Miss Universe Philippines 2022.
