Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the Miss Universe Philippines, will be held on 30th April 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Lou Dominique Piczon has made it to the Top 50 for Miss Universe Philippines 2022 representing Cebu Province. She is 26 years-old, stands 172 cm tall and works as an account executive. The diva is managed by Danny Booc and is an OZAR model. This year, she is representing the Aces and Queens camp.

Not new to pageantry, Lou was Miss Catbalogan City Athletic Association 2008, Miss Summer Queen 2013 first runner-up, Miss Mandaue 2014 and Reyna ng Aliwan 2016 second runner-up. She also competed in Binibining Cebu 2017 and finished among the Top 20. Later she represented Ronda in Binibining Cebu 2018 and was crowned Cebu Heritage 2018.

She describes herself as a jack of all trades as she has excelled in the fields of speech, singing, marital arts and at the same time is also a home body. Lou is also a mental health advocate. Prior to the pandemic, she toured around universities in Cebu to spread the awareness on Mental Health, with her Rise Up campaign.

Most recently, she represented Mandaue in Miss Universe Philippines 2020, where she was awarded Best in National Costume and Best in Runway and finished in the Top 16. Coming back for the national title this year, the diva is stronger and much more determined towards the opportunity to represent Philippines internationally. Following the steps of her predecessors Apriel Smith and Steffi Aberasturi, Lou will also prove to be a strong contender for the crown this year.
