A video has recently gone viral where in Miss Universe Russia 2020 Alina Sanko is seen laughing as her make-up artist mocks the Miss Universe candidates’ profiles on the Miss U voting app. Although Alina is not seen passing any comments along with her friend, she is equally responsible for the disappointing behavior.

Alina Stanislavovna Sanko is a Russian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Russia 2019. She represented Russia at Miss World 2019, where she placed in the Top 12. From what her fellow delegates say about her, Sanko is a soft-spoken and polite girl. Yet, this video has hurt sentiments of her batchmates with whom she will be sharing screen space soon.

The make-up artist friend commented that the representatives of Albania and Argentina look like transgender, while the representatives of Ghana, Canada and Kosovo were criticized for bad image. He also commented that the Barbados’ representative was wearing bad make up. Neither of the two has issued any statement for their behavior until now.

Moreover, for Alina, it would have bad even if her friend just recorded himself commenting on the girls without Alina in the video, but the fact that she let him record her and laughed like that at what he was saying is utterly disappointing and the pageant fans have already expressed their opinion.

Miss Universe 2020 is all set to happen on 17th May 2021 in Florida, USA with about 70 contestants competing for the coveted crown. The pageant will happen under strict Covid-19 guidelines and at the end of the event finale, Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa will crown her successor.
