The Miss Universe Thailand 2022 competition is all set to be held soon as the organization will soon begin the search for a new queen to represent the country at Miss Universe 2022. Delegates from all over the country will compete for the national crown as Miss Universe Thailand 2021 Anchilee Scott-Kemmis will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
While many names have been surfacing as potential delegates for this year’s edition, one of the biggest comebacks and cross-over, that is being anticipated, is of Nicolene Limsnukan. She is a 23 year-old Thai model, born in Long Beach, California and a student of business administration at the University of Thai Chamber Of Commerce.
Nicolene is a former Miss World Thailand title holder and represented the country at Miss World 2018 where she was placed as the first runner-up and won the continental Queen Of Asia title. She was also the winner of head-to-head challenge during the competition.
Nicole started her pageant journey when she was six years old. At the age of 15, she won the title of Miss Teen Asia USA 2014. She was the part of Miss Universe Thailand 2018 where she was placed at Top 10 and was adjudged the title of Miss People’s Choice.
The diva is anticipated to comeback for the national title as a cross-over queen if she is qualified healthy for the competition as she recently has an appendix surgery and is currently recovering. According to sources, Nicolene is waiting and if no complications from the surgery emerge she can be a potential candidate this year.
Nicolene considers beauty to be how your actions are displayed and how much you can contribute to society. For her, beauty is defined by what one can do for others and what one can say to others to make them feel better about themselves. She believes that the entire taboo surrounding beauty pageants should be removed since they show society how empowering a woman can be. She deconstructs beauty pageants because they are no longer only about beauty; they are also about how a woman can be strong, clever, and aid and empower other women.
Nicolene is a strong advocate for women's empowerment and mental wellness. She has always been self-assured, strong, and determined to represent Thailand on the Miss Universe stage. If she chooses to compete, she might be one of the strongest and ideal contender for the crown.
