Miss Universe organization is all set to host the national costume competition for the 70th edition of the pageant on 10th December 2021 in Eilat, Israel, where the delegates from all over the globe will give their last try to win over the judges and the audience before the finale night. The stunning delegates will showcase their traditional costumes reflecting their respective countries’ culture and traditions.
Another diva who has revealed her magnificent costume, just hours before the competition is Miss Universe Venezuela 2021 Luiseth Materan. The diva took to her social media to share, “Venezuela, I present my typical costume! With much love and pride I decided to exalt the magic, subtlety, beauty and harmony of our emblematic national Orchid. Today more than ever I feel honored to come from a country full of so many natural wonders that we must take care of and preserve.” For the queen, the Venezuelan Orchid represents part of the natural heritage and is the purest reflection of the wonderful flora that adorns the jungles.
The national costume, ‘Cattleya Amazonia’ designed by the talented Carlos Pérez is a creation that is inspired and pays tribute to the majesty and beauty of our national flower, the orchid. The Orinoco Superba, a variety of the Orchid that grows in the basins of the Orinoco River and is characterized not only by its striking lilac color, but also by the dark purple of its lobes and the yellow of the center of the lip with fuchsia lines.
The structure of the orchid that will be carried by Luiseth is more than one meter and the petals are covered by hundreds of crystals painted in shades of lilac, purple and magenta, which achieve a greater sense of realism and depth. Likewise, the glass splashes in green, lilac and purple, which symbolize the flower's lip, give even more uniqueness to this work that represents the splendor of Venezuela.
Venezuela is the Power House of beauty, the country with the most beauty titles in the world and some of the strongest delegates over the years. Luiseth is definitely another such delegate as she is strong, self-assured and determined towards excelling in the industry and making her country proud at the 70th edition of Miss Universe pageant, Miss Universe 2021, scheduled to be held on 13th December 2021 in Eilat, Israel as Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza of Mexico will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
