Yamile Dajud was crowned Miss Universe Argentina 2023 at the finale of the national pageant held on 6th August 2023. Yamile succeeds and was crowned by Miss Universe Argentina 2022 Bárbara Yasmín Cabrera and will now represent Argentina at Miss Universe 2023.

Yamile hails from Rio Negro, Argentina and previously lived in Bogota, Colombia. In 2020, Yamile graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota with bachelor’s degree in communication. The 27-year-old stunning beauty bested 21 other delegates to win the crown.

Not new to the pageantry, in 2021, she was appointed Señorita Sucre 2021. Then, she represented Sucre at Señorita Colombia 2021 and competed against 24 other candidates at Julio Cesar Turbay Ayala Convention Center in Cartagena where she was adjudged as the third runner-up.

On making it as official Miss Universe Argentina 2023, Yamile took to her official social media as she wrote, “Yamile is 27 years old and representative of Río Negro is our Miss Universe Argentina 2023. She graduated from social communication, specialist in public opinion and political marketing. Today she studies law and is passionate about world literature and cultures.”

Miss Universe 2023, the 72nd edition of Miss Universe, is scheduled to be held in San Salvador, El Salvador on 18th November 2023 where Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel of the United States will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
