The Miss Venezuela organization hosted the 2021 edition of the national pageant on 28th October 2021, where aspiring delegates from all over the country competed against each other for the title and an opportunity to represent Venezuela at Miss Universe 2022, since the organization had already appointed Luiseth Materan to represent the country at Miss Universe 2021, a few months back.
Region Andina’s Amanda Dudamel Newman was crowned as Miss Venezuela 2021 at the end of the event. During the past months of work, she showed that she is a worthy representative of Venezuelan women, she captivated with her personality and taught that with discipline and love, for what you do,you can achieve any goal.
Miss Venezuela 2021 Amanda Dudamel’s court includes –

3rd Runner-Up - Rosángel Requena
4th Runner-Up - Selene Delgado
The 21-year-old is a fashion designer by profession and loves to play tennis in her mean time. Her hobbies include doing yoga and clicking photographs. She considers herself an optimistic person with a lot of faith. Talking about her aspirations, she says she hopes to venture into television industry as an actress or a presenter in future.
She works as a Creative Director of Made in Petare, an accessories brand that was created to financially support the ‘Un Par Por Un Sueño’ foundation. Together with them, through the development and sale of products, they contribute to the work of the foundation where more than 1000 children are fed daily in different dining rooms in Petare. They also include mothers as part of the process by offering them training and job opportunities that allow them to empower themselves and support their families financially; and simultaneously carry out recreational activities with the children together with the foundation team.
“I would like the public to know that behind the Amanda they will meet there is a very persevering woman, a girl who has dreamed big since she was little and that every step she takes is doing it with great dedication, love and dedication. An Amanda who continues to grow and know herself day by day and who wants to show all of Venezuela that she can be natural, responsible and authentic on the way to her dreams, because she is an Amanda who continues to dream in a giant and who is sure that by staying true to its essence will be able to infect you with this good energy and share this great dream together,” she shared.
The newly crowned queen is a very optimistic, positive person with a lot of faith. She likes to transform problems into opportunities and is a faithful believer that everything that happens in our lives has a reason for being. What makes her special are her qualities of being persistent, loyal and very optimistic. She will definitely be a strong contender for the Miss Universe 2022 crown, as she has over a year to prepare for her international stint.
