With recent rumours doing the rounds stating that Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh had contracted Covid-19, the beauty queen’s father has finally slammed all the rumours stating that Toni is in United States with her mother, Jahrine Bailey. She dispelled all the rumours saying she is healthy and has no symptoms.

He stated, “She’s okay. There is a website that can be used to track her movements to see which countries she’s visiting next, so I don’t know why people don’t use that to see what she’s up to. We speak regularly and spend time together. I am telling you, she’s okay.”

As a part of her reigning responsibilities, Toni is expected to travel to 40 countries though he is unsure whether the tour will be halted due to the pandemic. He also mentioned, “I don’t know the contingency plan. I don’t know if the organization has yet communicated anything to her. I spoke with her today (yesterday) and she didn’t mention.”

Toni’s latest trip was to Nepal to support 2019 Beauty with a Purpose winner and Miss Nepal 2018 Anushka Shrestha with several projects. This included helping to set up health care centres for people from the Kailash Rural Municipality.

Miss World Organization has also denied that its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Julia Morley tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The organization wrote, “We are aware of news circulating on the web and from fake online accounts it has been reported that Julia Morley, Chairman and CEO has Coronavirus. This is not true and has already been denied many times. Julia Morley is well and is working at her office in London.”
