Miss World 2021 Top 40: Ámar Pacheco Ibarra representing Ecuador

Miss World 2021, the 70th edition of Miss World, will be held on 16th March 2022 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In a recent announcement made by the Miss World organization, Top 40 delegates were selected to enter the final leg of the competition.

In a series of features, here are the forty delegates, in no particular order, (15 from the fast-track competitions and 25 through judges’ choice) who will fly to Puerto Rico for the coronation night. A´mar Pacheco Ibarra representing Ecuador has secured a spot in Top 40 by being one of the judges’ choice winners.

 

 

A´mar Pacheco Ibarra is 25 years of age and stands 172 cm tall. She is the daughter of the singer Silvana Ibarra and the renowned musician Gustavo Pacheco. She has been singing since she was two years old and her voice was her best strategy during the talent test of the Reina de Guayaquil contest, in which she performed songs by the late artist Whitney Houston and Silvana.

Amar speaks English and Spanish and actively helps children with disabilities through Music at her parents' foundation and volunteers at integral arts centres and teaches musical theatre classes, besides singing. Amar also likes dancing and is passionate about her cause.

If Amar wins Miss World 2021, she will become the first delegate from Ecuador to win the coveted Miss World crown. With her stunning beauty, her strong personality and exceedingly well communication skills, Ibarra will definitely give a stiff competition to other ladies.
