Miss World 2021 Top 40: Sharon Obara representing Kenya

Miss World 2021, 70th edition of Miss World, will be held on 16th March 2022 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In a recent announcement made by the Miss World organization, Top 40 delegates were selected to enter the final leg of the competition.

In a series of features, here are the forty delegates, in no particular order, (15 from the fast-track competitions and 25 through judges’ choice) who will fly to Puerto Rico for the coronation night.

 

 

Sharon Obara representing Kenya made it to the Top 40 by winning Beauty with a Purpose round of the fast-track competitions. Sharon was crowned Miss World Kenya 2021 at The Trademark Hotel in Nairobi in August 2021 where she won the right to represent Kenya at Miss World 2021.

Obara hails from Nairobi whose biggest fear is living a mediocre life. She is a special education professional who attended an event for children with Down Syndrome, autism and cerebral palsy at the Tamarind Tree Hotel in Nairobi in April 2019.

 

 

Sharon is 22 years of age and stands 175 cm tall. The stunning Kenyan beauty is multilingual who is fluent in English, French, Kiswahili. Sharon completed a Diploma in French and is currently studying for a Bachelors’ Degree in Psychology and would eventually like to run her own Psychiatric Practice.

Obara enjoys baking and the arts and is a model and brand influencer. Her favourite film is ‘Hotel Rwanda’ and her favourite book is ‘Becoming’ by Michelle Obama. Her Personal Motto is ‘What is worth doing is worth giving your best.’ She could definitely be a strong competitor for the Miss World crown if she continues with her brave efforts. Kenya is yet to debut its win at Miss World.
