Camila Pinzón rose to fame when she became the first ever delegate from Boyaca to be crowned Miss Mundo Colombia 2022 (Miss World Colombia 2022) in August 2022 at the Military Club of Army Officers in the city of Bogotá. Ever since, the stunning beauty queen has been preparing to compete at the upcoming edition of Miss World.

The 26-year-old Colombian beauty queen was born in Duitama, Boyacá. Being a multilingual, Camila speaks fluently in Spanish, English, French and Italian. She completed her elementary and high school education at Colegio Campestre Suazapawa in Nobsa, Boyacá.

Later, Camila lived between France and England to study for her undergraduate and master's degrees in International business and Marketing at the Sorbonne University and Cambridge University.

Ever since her coronation, Camila has had dialogues at United Nations discussing around education and the rights of the children which is also a part of her Beauty with a Purpose Project. She also went to Kenya in January to talk about education for children. “I can now leave Kenya with the tranquility of knowing that these children will be able to pursue an education having the necessary books and school material, therefore also securing a brighter future”, she wrote.

Not new to the pageantry, Camila participated in the 2nd edition of the Miss Universe Colombia that took place in October 2021 at the Chamorro City Hall in the city of Bogotá, competing against 24 other delegates where she was placed Top 13. With all of her pageantry experience, her educational qualifications and her strong personality, Camila will definitely be a strong contender for the crown.
