Miss World Malaysia 2019 hosted its grand coronation night on 6th September 2019 at Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur where Alexis Sue-Ann was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Malaysia in Miss World 2019. Miss World Malaysia 2018 Larissa Ping crowned her successor at the end of the event finale.
Alexis Sue-Ann performed with excellence and grace at the national contest. She is not new to the pageantry as she competed in Miss Universe Malaysia 2018 last year and with her incredible performance, she placed as the first runner-up. The newly crowned queen Alexia SueAnn’s court included –

Second Runner-Up – Melissa Jespoh Raj

The contestants who competed for Miss World Malaysia 2019 were Joanneia Selin Joseph, Chermaine Kang Yi Ting, Rosanne Reynauld, Janice Ng Si Ying, Jean Kueh Yong Jun, Nisha Thayanathan, Alexis SueAnn, Melissa Jespoh Raj, Phan Jing Mun, Karyn Ong, Juliana Sambai Anak Sibat, Amanda Hong Chzi Ann, Parveen, Ong Kar Hooi, Kimberley Lee Mei Guan, Goh Jia Rong, Thaneswari Rajenthiran, Temara Nelia Inigo, Hema Valli and Tan Zhi Ying.
Last year, Larissa Ping Liew represented the country in Miss World 2018 where she performed outstandingly and secured a spot in the Top 30 at the conclusion. Congratulations to the newly crowned queen.
