The people of the Philippines can’t hold their excitement ever since Miss World Philippines 2016 Catriona Gray has put foot in Binibining Pilipinas 2018 competition. We have further good news for all her lovers. The web interview of this beauty is finally out and she is looking every bit scintillating in the video.
The video starts with Catriona wearing an ultra-glam white dress while she is introducing herself to the world. Well, no introduction is needed for this charmer.
Then she talks about her childhood, about how she enjoyed the best of two worlds. Catriona’s paternal family is Australian and her mother’s side is from the Philippines. She tells how being an only child, her home environment was generally quite but when she used to visit her mother’s family in the Philippines, it was like a festival. These were some of the best and memorable days of her childhood.
There came a time in her life when at a tender of 15, she saw her father being diagnosed with cancer. It took a toll on her life as she witnessed her father being in constant pain and feeling regular fatigue while going through Chemotherapy. She calls him her superman and expresses how he was invincible for her. Even though his body was weak, his mind was always strong and she learned to be strong from him.
Catriona is very passionate about her two charity causes, first is her collaboration with ‘Love Yourself’ organization that works to provide education to general public suffering from HIV aids and second is her association with ‘Young Focus’. She is a very proud citizen of the Philippines who has worked her sweat to eradicate the social issues from the country.
We think there are many things that make this beauty unique. She is quite a pro in adventurous activities while having a black belt in Tae-Kwando. She has a huge love for music and she is also working on a project where she can provide musical equipments and training to young souls so that they can develop a fond for music.
Concluding the interview she discussed about what she will take away from this journey of Binibining Pilipinas 2018. She said that the fact that she is a part of this legacy is what she will cherish the most. She wants to be a part of Binibining Pilipinas Charities Incorporated, an association that’s redefines what a modern Filipino woman is.
