The prestigious Miss World Philippines 2017 has started and is now in full swing. The contestants are gearing up for the big day and also enjoying the training sessions. This year a total of 35 contestants are vying for the title. Miss World Philippines 2016, Catriona Gray will crown her successor at the finale night.
Starting off with the schedule lined up for them, the contestants looked excited to learn the makeup tricks which will be beneficial for them during the pageant. The candidates paid close attention as they underwent expert makeup training with Jigs Mayuga. He made them learn some of the needed tricks to accentuate their features in a classier way.

The pre-pageant activities have also been introduced so that the contestants can make the best use of the opportunities presented to them to get started.
