The Miss World Philippines organization pulled through the coronation for Miss World Philippines 2021, after five postponements, on 3rd October 2021 at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center, Hall A, where Tracy Maureen Perez of Cebu was crowned as the new queen as she succeeded Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Marquez Dee, who had a two-year reign since the Miss World Philippines pageant was not held in 2020 due to the pandemic.

Born in 1993, Tracy hails originally from Baguyan, Agusan del Sur and currently resides in Cebu city. Tracy has inspiration right at home as her mother Chona Perez, who raised Tracy as a single mother, was a Binibining Cebu finalist and was once named among Cebu’s Five Prettiest. Tracy earned her bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of San Carlos – Cebu from 2008 to 2014. Currently, the stunning beauty works as an associate software engineer at Accenture and also as a model on the side. Tracy was also among our favourites for the title.

She represented Madridejos in Binibining Cebu 2018 and was crowned Binibining Cebu Charity 2018. In 2019, she decided to give pageantry another go as she participated in Miss World Philippines 2019 and placed in the Top 12. Last year, Tracy represented Cebu City at Miss Universe Philippines 2020 where she won the awards of Best in Swimsuit Photo and Miss Photogenic.

Tracy’s way of answering the questions thrown at her with absolute finesse and eloquence made her a strong delegate at this year’s pageant as well. During the question and answer segment, Perez was asked what she would want the people to learn from the pandemic when it's over. For her answer, she said, "After this pandemic, I hope that we never take for granted the family that we have, taking care of our health, and taking care of the people that protect us -- our leaders, our frontliners. We should always give importance to those people. We may not see the efforts that they give out, but most definitely they are our modern heroes. And for that we should always be grateful, and that we should always stick with them and pray for them. Thank you."

Tracy will be representing the Philippines in the Miss World 2021 pageant in Puerto Rico in December. With her mesmerizing beauty and talent, she sure will make a strong impact at the international platform.

Congratulations queen!
