Manisha Moonilal enters Top 9 as she wins ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ award at Miss World Trinidad And Tobago 2020

Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2020/21 hosted the ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ competition on 10th January 2021 at MovieTowne C3 Centre where the fourteen delegates presented their advocacies, making a difference in the world today.

At the end of the event, Manisha Moonilal Miss Marabella 2020 won the coveted Beauty with a Purpose 2021 award. Her advocacy ‘Rise Above Poverty’ was selected the best out of the thirteen other delegates.

 

 

Jeanine Brandt Miss Palmiste 2020 was awarded the first runner-up position for ‘The Brandt Foundation’ while Elisheva Phillips Miss San Fernando 2020 was awarded second runner-up position for ‘No greater time than Now’ advocacy.

 

 

 

Trishelle Leacock Miss Scarborough- Tobago 2020, Ameika Louis Miss Union Village Tobago 2020, Jemima Sarah Renee Miss Chaguanas2020 and Miss Diego Martin 2020 made up the Top 7.

Hostesses for the event were Valene Maharaj, Miss World T&T and Miss World Caribbean 2007, Gabrielle Walcott, Miss World T&T, Miss World Caribbean and Winner of Miss World Beauty with a Purpose 2008 and Tya Jane Ramey, reigning Miss World T&T and Miss World Caribbean 2019.

All 14 delegates received Medals from The Miss World Organisation. The Ministry of Social Development and Family Services is the proud sponsor of all the awards presented to the top seven and the Top three. Senator the Honourable Donna Cox- Minister of Social Development and Family Services presented all the awards on behalf of the Ministry.
