Nepal has been a rising name in Pageantry for the past few years. With its delegates showing extraordinary performance last year in international pageants, more young Nepalese girls have shown interest in competing for the coveted title of Miss Nepal.
Nepal participates in five major international pageants, Miss World, Miss Earth, Miss International, Miss Asia Pacific International, and Miss Intercontinental. The reigning queens are:
Miss World Nepal 2017- Nikita Chandak
Miss Earth Nepal 2017- Rojina Shrestha
Miss International Nepal 2017- Niti Shah
Miss Asia Pacific International Nepal 2017- Sahara Basnet
Miss Universe Nepal 2017- Nagma Shrestha
The Miss Nepal team will be visiting 8 cities to finalise the contestants for Miss Nepal 2018. The cities are Dharang, Birgunj, Chitwan, Bitamode, Butwal, Dhangadi, Nepalgunj and Pokhara.
February 9 2018, Friday at 11 am, the auditons will be held at Dharang, at hotel Navyug, Birgunj, at hotel Vishuwa, and Chitwan, at Bharatpur Garden Resort. The Birtamode leg of the selection will take place on February 13, 2018, at Hotel Florida.
On 6th February 2018 at 11 AM, Auditions for Butwal city will be held at Hotel Darcy's, Dhangadi will host auditions at Hotel Devotee, for Nepalgunj at Hotel Sneha and Pokhara will hold auditions at WaterFront Resort.

The prerequisites for qualifying to fill the form for Miss Nepal 2018 are:
1) The applicant should be a single/never married/naturally born female Nepali citizen.
2) Never given birth.
3) Age should be between 19-25 years (as of December 31, 2018)
4) Minimum academic qualification should be 10+2 equivalent.
5) Minimum height should be 5 ft 4 inches (164.6 cms)
6) Applicant should be attractive, possess sound health and have a good moral character.
7) No tattoo on body.
