The Miss Universe organization is all set to host the 69th edition of the beauty pageant, i.e., Miss Universe 2020 on 16th May 2021 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, United States. Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi from South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
Miss Universe Indonesia 2021 Rr. Ayu Maulida Putri, who is currently in Texas, was recently invited as a guest speaker at an event with the Indonesian American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) in Houston. IACC-SCU is an independent and reliable non-profit organization that actively promotes and develops economic opportunities for Indonesian-American corporations, small businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals in conducting business, trade, and investment relations between Indonesia and the United States.
Ayu took to her social media to share the experience of interacting with people at the event where she was able to talk about several exciting topics and issues between Indonesia and the USA. The diva added that at the event they discussed interesting things, including the culture, habits, or daily activities for Indonesian people during Ramadan.
"However, it's disheartening to see that the gap for inequalities is wider than before, despite the pandemic, racism, or even inhuman things that happened here. I hope my presence here can have an impact on them and give a powerful message to people around the world through my journey in the Miss Universe Competition,” Ayu added.
As the guest speaker, the confident and powerful Miss Universe Indonesia 2020 Ayu Maulida encouraged and motivated the young people with her words and reminded them that ‘nothing worth having comes easy’ to anyone. She explained that she started manifesting in these words in 2017 and started working hard for the things she desired. Ayu added that people approach her and ask her, "How do you do this, how did you get here?" and she tells them that nothing worth having comes easy. She further added that everyone should set goals, stay focused, dedicate oneself to those goals, and keep going.
Ayu Maulida is one of the strongest contenders for the title as she has worked hard on herself, whether it is speaking skills or walking, or just confidence. She has managed to impress everyone with her positive manifestations, opinions, and strong personality. The pageant fanatics believe that Ayu is someone who takes criticism in a very positive way and works on that and comes back with a bang to impress everyone all over again. She is currently in Texas and will soon make her way to Miami, Florida to compete in Miss Universe 2020.
