Puteri Indonesia organization is all set to host the 2021 edition where stunning beauties will compete for the national crown and win the opportunity to represent Indonesia at the upcoming editions of Miss Universe, Miss International and Miss Supranational.

While the official list of delegates is yet to be announced, there are a few stunning Indonesian beauties who are on every pageant fanatic wishlist to be a part of Puteri Indonesia 2021 and one of them is Ayu Candradewi.

Ayu is 24 years old and has a bachelor’s degree in business management. She is currently living in Auckland, New Zealand, and working in the corporate industry, while still pursuing modelling on the side. Ayu has been growing up in the modelling world since she was 8 years old, however she stopped pursuing it during her high school years. At the age of 17, Ayu moved to New Zealand and decided to continue her modelling career while studying. Through her life, Ayu has been described as persistence, ambitious and confident.

Ayu has had a long journey in the pageant world; she competed in Miss Earth New Zealand and won 3rd Runner-up and Miss Photogenic. She began to be widely known in Indonesian pageantry in 2017, where she had the privilege to win Miss Face of Beauty Indonesia 2017 as she competed internationally at Face of Beauty International 2017 in New Delhi, India. In that competition, she won Best Talent against approximately 60 other countries.

In 2019, once again she competed internationally in a smaller scale pageant called Miss Continents in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA where she placed Top 6 and won Best National Costume. In 2021, after a lot of consideration, she has finally filed her application to Puteri Indonesia 2021.

To develop her modelling potential, Ayu is currently gearing up for training with Manohara Beauty Camp for Puteri Indonesia preparation. In addition to that, Ayu has a keen interest to join an NGO specialising in Children Rights. UNICEF has always been her go-to organisation, when it comes to her passion helping children around the world. She believes that children are the future of the nation, and so is the world. Therefore, children have to be looked after and given an adequate education.
